Employability

EMPLOYABILITY

Our Employability programme is specifically designed for young individuals aged 19-24 who have already graduated from our sponsorship programme. This programme focuses on equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to enhance their employability quotient and successfully enter the job market.

The Employability programme consists of three major components: Post-Secondary Scholarships, Career Readiness, and Into Employment.

POST SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS

This component of the programme aims to support our beneficiaries in pursuing higher education or vocational and technical training. We provide scholarships to assist them in selecting appropriate academic streams that align with their career goals. In addition to financial support, we offer career counselling to help them enhance their professional competencies. To further broaden their skill set, we also offer English and computer courses alongside their academic curriculum

CAREER READINESS

Our Career Readiness programme focuses on enhancing the skills and efficiency of our youth to maximise their opportunities for job placement. Through skill development training and workshops, we integrate programme components with life skills training. Equipping them with both technical and soft skills, we ensure that they are well prepared to meet the demands of the professional world.

INTO EMPLOYMENT

The Into Employment component of our programme provides domain-based skill training, mentorship, industrial visits, and job placements. We partner with various institutions to conduct training sessions that are tailored to specific industries or job roles. The training duration ranges from 3 months to 2 years, depending on the domain selected by the youth. Our primary objective is to ensure that 70% of youth who complete the training programme secure employment opportunities.
